What was the design inspiration for EAU Palm Beach?

Our oceanfront resort features 309 guestrooms and suites and is located along seven acres of private beachfront in Manalapan, FL – just minutes away from the Town of Palm Beach.
We recently completed a complete re-envisioning of our guestrooms, and worked collaboratively with the iconic designer, potter and author Jonathan Adler, who also happens to be a part-time resident of Palm Beach. Each room channels a “Capri meets Santorini meets Palm Beach” vibe! The rooms feature new exclusive furnishings designed by Adler, one-of-a-kind art commissions by notable artists Donald “Drawbertson” Robertson, Leila Jeffries and Jenna Snyder-Phillips, classic photographs by Slim Aarons and design details that incorporate classic Chinoiserie-inspired décor and color combinations of vintage Palm Beach.

What is unique about your property?

Our spa, Eau Spa, is a destination spa and is one of the most unique spas in Florida, if not the country. In 2015 it was awarded the Forbes Five Star Award, one of only some 40 spas in the world to have such a distinction. The spa features 42,000 square feet of space, 19 treatment rooms, a separate men’s and women’s area with water features and a self centered garden. The spa is unique in that it is not a health and wellness spa, but a spa that is about relaxation and distressing while having fun. The spa encourages its guests to enjoy champagne and cupcakes throughout their visit.

If you only have 72 hours in Palm Beach what would you recommend doing or seeing?

Stay at Eau Palm Beach and enjoy the spa and amenities of this AAA Five Diamond property; venture in to Palm Beach and talk a leisurely stroll along world famous Worth Avenue. Be sure and check-out the ‘vias’ or alleys behind some of the shops. Take a tour of the Flagler Museum, Henry Morrison Flagler’s winter home – Whitehall – which is now open to the public. A visit to Palm Beach would not be complete without a tour on the water where you can see some of the country’s most beautiful estates up close. Also visit Peanut Island in middle of the intra-coastal. This is where you will take a tour of the bunker where the US Secret Service hid President Kennedy and his family. A visit to Palm Beach should also include a stop at the Norton Museum of Art, the Norton Sculpture Garden and a visit along Antique Row in downtown West Palm Beach – where some of the top interior designers purchase items for their clients.

What's your favorite restaurant in Palm Beach?

In addition to Angle at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa (under the direction of Chef de Cuisine Manlee Siu), I highly recommend Bistro Chez Jean Pierre – since 1992 it’s owned and operated by a family from Normandy, France where guests will enjoy authentic French cuisine – including Dover sole, steak tartare and much more (and don’t forget to try the fries!).
